In life, the common types of stones we see are natural stone and artificial stone. There are various kinds of natural stones, and we cannot accurately reproduce them, but we can highly imitate natural stones by cutting or using artificial stone molds to achieve the effect of natural stones.
So do you know how to produce artificial stone?
1. First, you need to prepare the mold and raw materials:
Light weighted gravel; cement; sand/stone powder; water reducing agent; pigment;Prepare these raw materials according to a certain proportion, and then stir them evenly;
2. When mixing the raw materials, you can add some yellow and orange pigments in it to eliminate the color of the cement and make the concrete better color;
3. Prepare the spray gun, mix the pigment you want to produce evenly, and pour it into the spray gun;
4. Apply a layer of demoulding oil to the placed mold; then use a spray gun to spray the color, respectively, on the mold for spot spraying and full spraying, and spray in turn according to the color effect you want;
5. To ensure that the color layer is sprayed evenly, then pour the mixed concrete into the mold, place it on the vibrating table, and vibrate for 10-15 seconds until the air bubbles in the concrete are vibrated out, and the mold should be filled and levelled up during the vibration process.
6. Store the vibrated molds in the drying room in turn, keep the room temperature at 65-70 degrees, and steam for 7-8 hours; if there is no drying room, get a room without windows, install an exhaust fan on the wall, and place the 15-18 hours.
The above is the general process of producing artificial stones, and the actual operation is simple and fast. One thing that needs to be reminded is that the demoulding time should be grasped, otherwise the pigment will be reverse osmosis on the mold. If this happens, it can also be cleaned with oxalic acid or rubber cleaner.
